1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the MBeauty website and your booking of any treatment or service with MBeauty, a beauty salon based in Dublin, Ireland. By booking an appointment or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
2. Bookings and Appointments
All appointments are booked through Fresha, an independent third-party online booking platform. When you book with us via Fresha, you will also be subject to Fresha’s own terms of use and privacy policy in respect of the booking process and any payment details you provide to them. We recommend you review Fresha’s terms directly on their platform. MBeauty is responsible for the treatments and services delivered in our salon, but is not responsible for the operation of the Fresha platform itself.
3. Cancellations, No-Shows and Late Arrival
We kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, in line with the cancellation window shown at the time of booking on Fresha. Late cancellations, no-shows, or arriving significantly late for your appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee or loss of any deposit paid, as set out in our Fresha booking page. We reserve the right to shorten or adjust a treatment, or to ask you to rebook, if you arrive late, in order to avoid inconveniencing other clients.
4. Prices and Payment
Prices for our treatments are as displayed on our Fresha booking page at the time of booking and are subject to change without prior notice. Some treatments may require a deposit to secure your booking, which will be clearly indicated during the Fresha booking process. Payment for treatments is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed, and may be taken by card, cash, or through Fresha, depending on what is available in salon.
5. Treatment Suitability, Consultations and Patch Tests
You must provide accurate and complete information about your health, allergies, medications and any relevant medical history when requested, as this affects the suitability and safety of certain treatments. Some treatments require a consultation and/or a patch test before your first appointment; where this applies, we will let you know and it is your responsibility to attend or complete it within the required timeframe. We reserve the right to refuse or postpone a treatment if we reasonably believe it is not suitable or safe for you at that time.
6. Gift Vouchers and Promotions
Where offered, gift vouchers and promotional offers are subject to any specific terms stated at the time of purchase or offer, including validity periods and treatment restrictions. Vouchers and promotional discounts have no cash value, are non-refundable, and cannot typically be combined with other offers unless expressly stated.
7. Website Use and Content
All content on this website, including text, images and branding, is owned by or licensed to MBeauty and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our prior written consent. We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is free from errors or omissions at all times.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MBeauty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or services, or from any adverse reaction to a treatment where you did not disclose relevant medical information or did not follow aftercare advice provided by our staff. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under local law.
